Kun Khalifat fans are extremely upset after hearing that Kun Khalifat has withdrawn from the Nigerian Professional Football League.

Kun Khalifat made the announcement yesterday after the league board decided to award El Kanemi Warriors 3 points and 3 goals and also fined Kun Khalifat 10 million naira.

• In case you don't know what happened, Kun Khalifat was supposed to play a league match against El Kanemi Warriors on Monday, but Kun Khalifat did not show up.

• Kun Khalifat stated that they wrote letters to the league board asking them to postpone the game because they couldn't play a match in Owerri on Thursday and still play in Maiduguri on Monday, but the league board did not respond to the letters.

• According to them, they wrote the first letter with no response, wrote again with no response, and then wrote a third letter, yet the league board did not reply.

• Since they did not show up, they awarded their opponent 3 goals and 3 points and also fined them 10 million naira.

As it stands, Kun Khalifat says "ha gbachala," meaning they will no longer participate in the NPFL.
